A fix for this memory leak is available and has been applied in the specified commits following Linux kernel version 5.5. Users and administrators should update to a fixed kernel version incorporating these commits to remediate the issue.
Description
A memory leak vulnerability in the Linux kernel's drm/i915 driver was fixed. The issue occurred in the query_perf_config_list() function where failure of krealloc() did not free the original oa_config_ids, causing a memory leak. This flaw affects Linux kernel version 5.5 and has been addressed in subsequent commits.
