AI-suggested
A fix has been implemented in the Linux kernel source (commits identified by hashes such as a3d9b8b7c8f3627976fe758c77ffd3da260824d7). Users should update to a Linux kernel version including these fixes to resolve the issue. No additional mitigation steps are indicated.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel tracing subsystem (user_events) was fixed where event fields were destroyed prematurely if event removal failed. This could leave an event registered with an empty field list but still visible, causing inconsistent state during subsequent interactions.
