A fix is available and has been applied in the Linux kernel versions identified by the fixed commit hashes. Users should update to a Linux kernel version that includes these fixes to resolve the vulnerability.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel ALSA usbusx2y driver involved an array size mismatch between in04_last and in04_buf, causing a potential out-of-bounds read of 3 bytes. This was fixed by introducing a consistent size constant for these buffers to prevent copying beyond allocated memory.
