Description
A null pointer dereference vulnerability was identified and fixed in the Linux kernel's IPv6 routing code. The flaw occurs in the __ip6_del_rt_siblings() function when it accesses a potentially null fib6_node pointer due to concurrent route modifications without proper locking. This can lead to kernel crashes or denial of service. The issue affects Linux kernel version 6.16 and has been fixed in subsequent commits.
