Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ethernet driver oa_tc6 related to error recovery during buffer overflow conditions has been fixed. The issue caused the driver to fail in finding a valid data chunk when buffer space ran out, leading to an assertion failure. The fix improves error handling by checking buffer tailroom before accepting data and abandoning frames if insufficient space is available. The vulnerability affects Linux kernel version 6.12.
