AI-suggested
A fix for this vulnerability is available and has been applied in the affected linux-hwe-edge kernel versions listed. Users should upgrade to the fixed versions to prevent the resource leak. No additional mitigation steps are indicated or required beyond applying the official fix.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's nvmet-rdma component causes a resource leak when the connect backlog limit is exceeded. Specifically, when pending disconnecting queues surpass the backlog limit, the connect path drops the device reference but leaks the newly allocated queue and its InfiniBand (IB) resources. This issue has been resolved in affected versions.
