Description
CVE-2026-98166 is a vulnerability in the Linux kernel's drm/ttm subsystem where swapped-out resources remain within their bulk_move range, leading to use-after-free conditions. This occurs because the removal of resources from bulk_move bookkeeping was skipped on successful swapout, causing dangling pointers that can result in crashes minutes to hours after hibernation or during process exit or reboot. The issue affects certain Linux kernel versions and has been fixed in later releases.
