This issue has been fixed in multiple Linux kernel commits as listed in the established facts. Users should update to a Linux kernel version that includes these fixes. No additional mitigation is required once patched.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's wifi p54 driver involves improper validation of exp_if records in the PDR_INTERFACE_LIST. The code reads an entire exp_if structure without ensuring the full record fits within the entry, leading to out-of-bounds reads beyond the EEPROM buffer. This can cause information leakage and potentially affect front-end selection logic.
