AI-suggested

A fix is available and included in Linux kernel version 6.6.158. Users and administrators should update to version 6.6.158 or later to remediate this issue.

Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel Bluetooth ISO subsystem caused a parent socket reference leak in the iso_conn_ready() function. This leak occurs when iso_sock_alloc() fails, as the error path does not properly drop the reference to the parent socket, leading to resource leakage. The issue has been fixed in Linux kernel version 6.6.158 and later.
