A fix has been implemented in the Linux kernel to properly guard the queuing of Bluetooth transmit work during workqueue draining. Users should apply the official kernel updates containing this fix when available. No additional mitigation steps are indicated.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel Bluetooth subsystem (hci_core) was fixed to address an issue where certain Bluetooth transmit work (tx_work) could be dropped during the draining of a workqueue. This occurs when socket send paths queue work while the device is closing and its workqueue is being drained, leading to warnings and dropped work items.
