AI-suggested

A fix is available and has been applied in several Linux kernel commits. Users and administrators should update to a fixed kernel version containing these commits to remediate the issue.

Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's dmaengine mmp_pdma driver causes incorrect scatter-gather (sg) length handling in the mmp_pdma_prep_slave_sg() function. This flaw leads to out-of-bounds reads and silent data loss when processing multi-entry scatter-gather lists with varying entry lengths.
