A fix is available in the Linux kernel source, as indicated by multiple fixed commits. Users should update to a kernel version that includes these fixes to resolve the use-after-free issue. No additional mitigation steps are required beyond applying the official patch.
Description
A use-after-free (UAF) vulnerability exists in the Linux kernel's drm/vc4 driver due to improper handling of KMS polling during device unbind. The driver calls drm_kms_helper_poll_init() without a matching drm_kms_helper_poll_fini(), causing polling work to run on a freed drm_device after unbind, leading to kernel memory corruption detected by KASAN.
