Description
CVE-2026-98310 is a vulnerability in the Linux kernel's drm/xe/shrinker component where a runtime power management reference was not taken before shrinking non-system memory. This could cause GPU mappings to become invalid while the device is runtime suspended, leading to assertion failures and errors during page table operations. The issue is fixed by ensuring a runtime PM reference is acquired before shrinking non-system memory and stopping the walk once the scan target is met.
