Description
CVE-2026-98348 is a vulnerability in the Linux kernel's wifi libipw component where too-short association responses are not properly rejected. This flaw allows a crafted frame with insufficient length to cause a buffer over-read due to incorrect length arithmetic, potentially leading to a denial of service. The issue affects version 2.6.15 of the Linux kernel and has been fixed in subsequent commits.
