Apply the updated kernel packages provided by AWS for Amazon Linux 2 and Amazon Linux 2023 and reboot affected systems. For self-managed Linux instances running kernel versions 4.4 and later, update to a patched kernel version and reboot. No action is required for AWS-managed services as AWS is applying the necessary updates.
