AI-suggested
A fix is available and has been applied in the Linux kernel. The patch adds bounds validation for device-supplied DMA indices and logs invalid values. Users should update to the fixed kernel versions identified by the commit hashes provided. No additional mitigation is required beyond applying the official fix.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel Bluetooth driver btintel_pcie allows a malicious or malfunctioning PCIe device to supply out-of-range DMA indices. This can cause the driver to dereference out-of-bounds pointers and potentially enter infinite loops due to unchecked device-controlled indices. The issue affects Linux kernel version 6.10 and has been fixed by adding bounds validation and error logging.
