AI-suggested

A patch is available and has been applied in the Linux kernel. Users should update to the fixed versions identified by commits f3a557067d57ce6ae98d485c8009b223e16f5f36 and 7a33007b95c8908ae3980eb2b4c508f8936766df. Since this is a kernel-level fix, updating the Linux kernel to a version including these commits will remediate the issue.

Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's KVM s390 subsystem was fixed by adding a missing srcu lock in the function kvm_s390_set_irq_state(). This function, like kvm_s390_inject_vcpu(), requires the kvm->srcu or slots lock when performing the Store status operation to ensure proper synchronization. The fix involves taking the kvm->srcu lock in kvm_s390_set_irq_state().
