A fix is available and has been applied in the Linux kernel. Users should update to the fixed kernel versions identified by the commits referenced in the established facts. No additional mitigation steps are indicated.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's Rohm BU27034 light sensor driver caused an infinite delay when reading the integration time failed. The code incorrectly used the error code to compute sleep time, leading to this issue. The flaw has been fixed by defaulting to the smallest integration time if reading fails.
