AI-suggested

A fix is available and has been applied to the Linux kernel source code to zero-initialize the stream_config structure. Users should update to the fixed kernel version containing this patch. No additional mitigation steps are indicated.

Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel ASoC codec driver rt1017-sdca-sdw was fixed by zero-initializing the stream_config structure before use. The uninitialized stream_config->type field could contain garbage data, which was then copied to stream->type, potentially causing undefined behavior. The fix involved zero-initializing stream_config so that type defaults to SDW_STREAM_PCM and refactoring to use a helper function for configuration.
