A patch is available and has been applied in the Linux kernel commits f29267ace04283e76f92a74d9a7f4fcfcb32f484 and 604d0efb17cc0dd197e089134736ac2698d5fca7. Users should update to the fixed Linux kernel version 6.7 or later to remediate this issue.

Description

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's drm/nouveau/gsp component was fixed by adding SEC2 to the GA100 chip table. The issue caused a NULL pointer dereference during GSP-RM boot due to the absence of the .sec2 entry, which is required for accessing the SEC2 falcon. This flaw could cause a crash during initialization on affected versions.
