The issue is fixed in the Linux kernel commits identified by the provided fixedVersions hashes. Users should update their Linux kernel to a version including these fixes. No additional mitigation is indicated.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel ALSA sequencer OSS interface causes incorrect handling of read buffer sizes. The snd_seq_oss_read() function incorrectly checks if the next event fits in the remaining userspace buffer, leading to potential improper event copying or misinterpretation of end-of-file conditions. This flaw has been fixed in later kernel commits.
