Description
CVE-2026-98932 is a use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's EDAC/altera driver. The flaw occurs in error handling paths where a data structure (dci) is freed before unregistering managed IRQs, potentially leading to dereferencing freed memory if an IRQ fires in that window. This vulnerability has been fixed by changing the order of resource release to unregister IRQs before freeing the dci structure.
