A fix is available and has been applied in specific Linux kernel commits. Users and administrators should update to a Linux kernel version that includes these fixes to mitigate the vulnerability.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's AMDGPU driver allowed improper acceptance of buffer objects (BOs) as doorbell BOs, potentially causing loss of buffer contents when a non-doorbell BO was used. This could affect clients sharing buffers on the same device. The issue has been fixed by rejecting BOs not created in the doorbell domain.
