Users should upgrade to a Linux kernel version that includes these fixes. No additional mitigation is indicated by the vendor advisory.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's panthor driver allows unprivileged userspace to request more queues than the firmware initialized, potentially causing a kernel crash due to dereferencing uninitialized memory. This occurs because the queue count validation does not account for the actual number of firmware-initialized stream interfaces, only checking against a hardcoded maximum. The issue affects Linux kernel version 6.10 and has been fixed in subsequent commits.
