A fix is available and has been applied in the Linux kernel. Users should update to the fixed versions identified by the commits listed in the established facts to resolve the runtime PM leak. No additional mitigation is required beyond applying the official fix.
Description
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's Xilinx GPIO driver causes a runtime power management (PM) reference leak when the gpio request function fails. This leak prevents the controller from runtime-suspending, leaving its clock enabled unnecessarily. The issue is fixed by changing the PM usage counter increment to occur only on success.
