Remediation requires applying a firmware update provided by DJI. There is no user-side mitigation that fully addresses this vulnerability without upgrading the firmware. Operators should monitor DJI's official channels for firmware updates and apply them promptly once available.

Description

DJI drones transmit DUML protocol messages over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) without encryption, exposing Wi-Fi credentials including SSID, PSK, and session UUID. An attacker within BLE range can passively capture this data, join the drone's Wi-Fi network, and impersonate trusted clients indefinitely. The vulnerability affects multiple DJI drone models with firmware versions prior to specified updates. Remediation requires a vendor firmware update; no effective user-side mitigation exists.
