Description

FlexPrice versions through 2.1.38 have an authentication bypass vulnerability in the HandleQuickBooksWebhook function. The flaw occurs because signature verification is skipped when the intuit-signature header is missing. This allows unauthenticated attackers who know a tenant and environment ID to replay forged payment notifications, potentially marking invoices as paid or overpaid.

Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-110765 describes an authentication bypass vulnerability in FlexPrice through version 2.1.38. The vulnerability exists in the HandleQuickBooksWebhook function, where the system fails to verify the signature if the intuit-signature header is omitted. This allows unauthenticated attackers, with knowledge of tenant and environment IDs, to replay forged payment notifications. The impact is unauthorized modification of invoice payment status, including marking invoices as paid or overpaid.

Potential Impact

The vulnerability enables unauthenticated attackers to bypass authentication checks and replay forged payment notifications. This can lead to financial discrepancies by marking invoices as paid or overpaid without legitimate payment. There is no indication of confidentiality or availability impact. The CVSS score is 5.9 (medium-high), reflecting high impact on integrity but no impact on confidentiality or availability.

Mitigation Recommendations

No patch or official fix information is provided in the available data. Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until a fix is available, restrict access to webhook endpoints and validate incoming requests through alternative means if possible.
