Users should monitor vendor advisories for updates. Until a fix is released, consider limiting exposure to untrusted PEM input or applying input validation to mitigate potential exploitation.
Description
A regular expression denial of service (ReDoS) vulnerability exists in the PEM decoding function (pem.decode) in Forge version 3.0. This vulnerability can cause excessive resource consumption when processing specially crafted input, potentially leading to denial of service conditions.
