Upgrade golang-oras-oras-go to version 2.6.2 or later, where this vulnerability is fixed. No other mitigations are specified or required.

Description

A vulnerability in the golang-oras-oras-go library prior to version 2.6.2 allows extraction of specially crafted OCI layers to write files outside the intended directory. This occurs due to improper symlink resolution during extraction, enabling an attacker to overwrite arbitrary files writable by the process. The flaw can lead to code execution if a malicious artifact is pulled. The issue is fixed in version 2.6.2.
