Until a fix is available, users should consider restricting network access to the affected interfaces and employ additional network-level protections to mitigate man-in-the-middle risks.

Description

IBM Storage Scale versions 5.2.3.0 through 5.2.3.8, and 6.0.1.0, have a vulnerability where TLS certificates are not properly validated during communication with remote cluster GUI interfaces. This flaw could allow an attacker to perform man-in-the-middle attacks and inject forged JSON responses.
