AI-suggested
A security update is available and should be applied to affected systems. The fixed kernel version is 6.12.0-211.63.1.el10_2. Systems running earlier versions should be upgraded to this version or later to remediate the vulnerabilities. No additional vendor-recommended mitigations are indicated beyond applying the update.
Description
This update addresses multiple security vulnerabilities, bug fixes, and enhancements in the Linux kernel packages for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10. The fixes include a range of issues such as use-after-free bugs, race conditions, privilege requirement enforcement, header validation, and memory leaks across various kernel subsystems including netfilter, RDMA, Bluetooth, crypto, IPv6, KVM, and others. The update increases the connection cleanup limit in netfilter and corrects several critical kernel networking and virtualization components. The kernel version 6.12.0-211.63.1.el10_2 contains the fixes.
