A security update for Node.js 24 is available from Red Hat and should be applied to affected systems. The update includes fixes for all listed vulnerabilities and rebases Node.js 24 to the latest release. Refer to the Red Hat advisory RHSA-2026:92376 and the update instructions at https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258 for detailed remediation steps. No additional mitigations are specified beyond applying the official patch.

Description

Multiple security vulnerabilities affecting Node.js 24 have been addressed in an important update. These include denial of service issues in ip-address and brace-expansion modules, out-of-bounds write in Google Brotli Decoder, TLS certificate hostname bypasses, DNS hostname truncation, predictable random values, permission and authentication bypasses, and HTTP response desynchronization. The update also includes bug fixes and enhancements rebasing to the latest Node.js 24 release for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.
