A fixed version 7.17.2 or later addresses this vulnerability. Until patched, restrict network access to the ITM Server from untrusted adjacent networks to reduce exposure.
Description
Insider Threat Management (ITM) Server versions prior to 7.17.2 have an authentication bypass vulnerability allowing unauthenticated users on an adjacent network to unregister agents when the number of registered agents exceeds the licensed limit. This leads to partial loss of integrity and availability by preventing the server from receiving new events from affected agents, without impacting confidentiality.
