Description

Jenkins versions 2.587 and earlier, including LTS 2.580.1 and earlier, have a vulnerability where symbolic links are followed when copying the directory of an item being renamed. This behavior allows attackers with Item/Create and Item/Configure permissions to read arbitrary files on the Jenkins controller file system.
