AI-suggested
A fixed version 6.7.9 or later should be applied to remediate this vulnerability. Until patched, restricting access to the vulnerable endpoint or disabling the Real Estate Manager extension may mitigate risk. Patch status is not explicitly confirmed in the provided data; verify with vendor advisory for current remediation guidance.
Description
An unauthenticated SQL injection vulnerability exists in the Joomla extension Real Estate Manager (Free) versions prior to 6.7.9. The vulnerability arises because the order_field parameter from user requests is directly concatenated into an unquoted SQL ORDER BY clause without validation or allow-listing, affecting three frontend property-listing queries.
