Until a fix is available, avoid processing untrusted or malformed GLTF files with vtkGLTFImporter. Monitor vendor communications for updates.
Description
Kitware VTK (Visualization Toolkit) version 9.5.0 contains a heap use-after-free vulnerability in the vtkGLTFImporter::ImportActors function. This flaw occurs when processing GLTF files with invalid scene node references, leading to access of string members of mesh objects that have already been freed during actor import operations. The vulnerability has a CVSS score of 6.5, indicating a medium severity impact primarily affecting availability and causing limited confidentiality impact.
