Until a fix is available, avoid processing untrusted PCX images or use alternative image decoders that are not affected.
Description
FFmpeg versions 2.1 through 9.0.2 contain a vulnerability in the PCX image decoder where uninitialized heap memory can be leaked. This occurs when a crafted PCX image has truncated RLE scanline data, causing the decoder to copy uninitialized buffer contents into the decoded output. The vulnerability has a medium severity rating and can lead to information disclosure.
