AI-suggested

Upgrade libsndfile to version 1.2.2-7.oe2403sp3 or later, where the misaligned memory access issue is fixed. Since a patch is available, applying the official fix is the recommended remediation.

Description

Libsndfile 1.2.2 addresses a security vulnerability involving a misaligned memory access in the psf_binheader_readf() function when parsing WAV format chunks. This flaw allows a specially crafted WAV file to cause undefined behavior, resulting in a denial of service condition.
