Description
The PyPI package 'as89ufnaisufn' version 1.0.0 contains malicious code that, upon import, downloads and executes a payload acting initially as an infostealer and subsequently as a remote access trojan (RAT). It connects to a hardcoded command and control (C2) server to receive commands, enabling remote command execution, file exfiltration, screen recording, and GUI manipulation via PyAutoGUI. The package is part of a malicious campaign with intent for data exfiltration, persistence, and spyware-like behavior.
