What to do
AI-suggested
Users and administrators should upgrade affected products to Firefox 135, Thunderbird 135, Firefox ESR 115.20, or Firefox ESR 128.7 or later, where these vulnerabilities have been fixed. Mozilla has released official patches addressing these issues. No additional mitigations are required once the updates are applied.
Description
Multiple memory safety vulnerabilities were identified in Firefox, Thunderbird, and Firefox ESR versions prior to their respective fixed releases. These bugs include use-after-free conditions and other memory corruption issues that could potentially allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code. The vulnerabilities were fixed in Firefox 135, Thunderbird 135, Firefox ESR 115.20, and Firefox ESR 128.7. The CVSS score of 9.8 indicates a critical severity level due to the potential for remote code execution without user interaction or privileges.
