AI-suggested
A patch is available in freeipmi version 1.6.20-1.el10_2. Users should update to this version or later to remediate these vulnerabilities. No additional mitigation steps are indicated by the vendor advisory.
Description
Multiple vulnerabilities in freeipmi, an IPMI remote console and system management software, allow arbitrary code execution and denial of service via stack-based buffer overflows and malformed Fujitsu System Event Log responses. These issues affect versions prior to 1.6.20-1.el10_2. A security update to version 1.6.20-1.el10_2 addresses these vulnerabilities.
