Since this issue occurs as a side effect of the fix for CVE-2026-49746, users should consult the vendor advisory for updates or potential fixes addressing this mapping limitation. Until then, affected systems may experience reduced kernel mode driver functionality related to GPU buffer mappings.
Description
This vulnerability affects GPU systems where the fix for CVE-2026-49746 has been applied. The fix limits the mapping range of graphics buffers, causing errors when mappings occur outside the restricted range. Specifically, integer truncation occurs when mapping GPU buffer pages within the 0GB to 4GB range, resulting in errors that limit the kernel mode driver's functionality.
