Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-41382 affects the OpenClaw CLI package, specifically Discord voice ingress authorization. The vulnerability arises from insufficient validation of channels, names, and stale roles, enabling an attacker with limited privileges to bypass channel and member allowlists. The issue was present in versions up to 2026.3.28 and fixed in 2026.3.31. The fix was committed on 2026-03-31. The CVSS 4.0 vector indicates network attack vector, low attack complexity, partial privileges required, no user interaction, and limited impact on confidentiality and integrity.

Potential Impact

The vulnerability allows bypassing Discord voice ingress authorization controls related to channel and member allowlists. This could enable unauthorized users to join voice channels they should not access. However, it does not constitute a full authentication bypass or critical security breach. No known exploits are reported in the wild.

Mitigation Recommendations

Users should upgrade OpenClaw CLI to version 2026.3.31 or later to apply the official fix. Versions up to 2026.3.28 are vulnerable. No additional mitigation is required once the patch is applied.
