Technical Analysis

OpenClaw CLI's Discord voice manager component improperly allows voice ingress prior to verifying channel-level member access allowlists. This results in an access-control bypass where unauthorized members may join voice channels despite restrictions. The vulnerability is present in versions >=2026.1.29 and <2026.3.31 and was resolved in version 2026.3.31 by commit dba96e7507e0900f120e5e28e57755d69bf78759.

Potential Impact

Unauthorized users may bypass channel-level member access controls in Discord voice channels managed by OpenClaw CLI, potentially allowing them to join restricted voice channels. This could lead to unauthorized access to voice communications within affected environments.

Mitigation Recommendations

Upgrade OpenClaw CLI to version 2026.3.31 or later, where the vulnerability has been fixed. No additional mitigation is required once the patched version is deployed.
