Openclaw cli: OpenClaw: Feishu dynamic-agent bindings could miss configWrites enforcement (CVE-2026-53835)
Description
A vulnerability in OpenClaw CLI's Feishu dynamic-agent bindings allows sender-created bindings to bypass configured config-write enforcement. This can lead to changes in sender-agent binding state beyond intended policy when the feature is enabled and reachable. The issue affects versions from 2026.1.29 up to but not including 2026.5.6. The vulnerability has a low severity score and does not affect confidentiality or availability, only integrity to a limited extent. A patch is available in version 2026.5.6. Mitigations include disabling sender-created Feishu dynamic-agent bindings if not needed and restricting channel and tool allowlists.

Technical Analysis
The Feishu dynamic-agent bindings feature in OpenClaw CLI versions >=2026.1.29 and <2026.5.6 could miss enforcement of config-write controls. This means a Feishu sender using dynamic-agent binding behavior might create or update bindings without respecting the configured config-write policies. The vulnerability does not alter OpenClaw's trusted-operator model and requires the affected feature to be enabled and reachable. The practical impact depends on operator configuration and whether lower-trust inputs can access this feature. The issue is patched in version 2026.5.6.
Potential Impact
The vulnerability allows modification of sender-agent binding state beyond intended policy controls, potentially impacting integrity. There is no impact on confidentiality or availability. The severity is low (CVSS 3.1) and exploitation requires the affected feature to be enabled and accessible. The overall impact depends on the operator's configuration and trust boundaries.
Mitigation Recommendations
A patch is available in OpenClaw CLI version 2026.5.6. Until patched, disable sender-created Feishu dynamic-agent bindings if they are not needed. Additionally, narrow channel and tool allowlists, avoid sharing a Gateway between mutually untrusted users, and disable the affected feature when not required to reduce risk.
