OS command injection in the root-privileged 'hardware_monitor' helper in DJI CrystalSky ZS600C firmware v0.3.9.7 through v0.6.6.9 on Android allows… (CVE-2026-114355)
Description
An OS command injection vulnerability exists in the root-privileged 'hardware_monitor' helper in DJI CrystalSky ZS600C firmware versions 0.3.9.7 through 0.6.6.9 on Android. A local unprivileged process can exploit this by writing a crafted line to the Android log (logcat), which the helper reads and executes with root privileges. This allows arbitrary command execution as root.

Technical Analysis
The vulnerability (CVE-2026-114355) affects the 'hardware_monitor' helper component in DJI CrystalSky ZS600C firmware versions 0.3.9.7 through 0.6.6.9 on Android. The helper runs with root privileges and reads input lines from the Android log (logcat). An unprivileged local process can inject a crafted line into the log, which the helper then passes to a shell eval, resulting in OS command injection and arbitrary root command execution.
Potential Impact
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows a local unprivileged attacker to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges on the affected device. This can lead to full system compromise, unauthorized access, and control over the device.
Mitigation Recommendations
Patch status is not yet confirmed — check the vendor advisory for current remediation guidance. Until an official fix is available, restrict local access to the device and monitor for suspicious local activity. Avoid running untrusted processes that can write to the Android log.
