Description

A privilege escalation vulnerability exists in Apache Ranger versions up to and including 2.8.0, exploitable via a URL parameter. This issue allows an attacker to gain elevated privileges improperly. The vulnerability is addressed in Apache Ranger version 2.9.0, which users are advised to upgrade to in order to remediate the issue.
