A fix is available as indicated by the presence of patched versions linked in the Debian security tracker. Users should update to patched versions of qt6-base as listed in the advisory. No additional mitigation steps are specified or required beyond applying the official patches.

Description

A vulnerability in the Qt Network module's QNetworkAccessManager class allows a malicious or compromised HTTP/2 server to cause a null pointer dereference and crash the application. This occurs when the server withholds the SETTINGS ACK frame, sends a RST_STREAM on a completed stream planting a null pointer, and then sends a PUSH_PROMISE for that stream.
