AI-suggested

Red Hat has released updated 389-ds-base packages as part of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.2 Update Services for SAP Solutions to fix these vulnerabilities. Users should apply the security update RHSA-2026:55421 promptly. Detailed update instructions are available at https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258. No additional mitigations beyond applying the official update are indicated.

Description

Multiple security vulnerabilities have been identified in the 389 Directory Server (389-ds-base) component of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.2. These include a pre-authentication LDAP filter injection, a NULL pointer dereference in the BER parser, and a pre-authentication stack buffer overflow via unbounded replica ID parsing. Red Hat has issued an important security advisory with updates addressing these issues.
