AI-suggested
Red Hat has released updated packages for 389-ds-base that address these vulnerabilities. Users should apply the security update available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 as described in the Red Hat advisory RHSA-2026:55424. No additional mitigations are specified beyond applying the official patch.
Description
Multiple security vulnerabilities were identified in the 389 Directory Server (389-ds-base), an LDAPv3 compliant server used in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10. These include a pre-authentication LDAP filter injection, a NULL pointer dereference in the BER parser, and a pre-authentication stack buffer overflow via unbounded replica ID parsing. Red Hat has released security updates addressing these issues.
